Cobb County's online permit portal will go offline Friday, Oct. 16, and stay down through Sunday, Oct. 18, for system updates.

The shutdown affects the county's ACA Portal, which residents, contractors and developers across the county, including unincorporated East Cobb, use to submit permit applications, schedule inspections and make payments. Cobb County Government said on X that in-person and online payments, inspections, and permit applications will all be unavailable during the three-day window.

The county has not said what specific upgrades are being performed.

Service resumes Monday, Oct. 19.

Cobb County Community Development's regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents with residential permit questions can call (770) 528-2060. Commercial inquiries go to (770) 528-2071. The county's Building and Development page has additional information about the portal and permitting services.
