Three homes sold for more than $1 million in East Cobb News’s roundup of residential transactions from Oct. 5–9, led by a $1.52 million sale in The Columns subdivision.

The property at 550 Willow Knoll Drive, listed in the Walton High School attendance zone, had the highest reported price in the weekly roundup. East Cobb News compiled the transactions from agency reports and Cobb County property records.

A home at 4992 Concert Lane in Tanglewood Enclave followed at approximately $1.48 million. East Cobb News reported $1.484 million, while Homes.com lists an Oct. 6 closing at $1.485 million.

The Concert Lane home was built in 2022 and has 7,213 square feet, six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, according to the listing. The gated community’s listed schools are Davis Elementary, Mabry Middle and Lassiter High.

The third seven-figure transaction was at 3222 Old Mill Trace, which sold for $1.024 million on Oct. 5. The Mill Trace property has five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and 4,203 square feet on 1.41 acres. East Cobb News places it in the Brumby Elementary, East Cobb Middle and Wheeler High attendance zones.

The roundup contains 36 transaction entries across seven high school zones, with reported prices ranging from $274,900 to $1.52 million. Walton accounted for 12 entries, followed by Wheeler with eight, Pope with six and Sprayberry with five. Kell and Lassiter each had two, and Marietta had one.

The list includes two entries for 827 Serramonte Drive at different prices, so the transaction count should not be read as a count of unique homes.

The preceding week also included million-dollar closings. At 2885 Lassiter Manor Drive, a six-bedroom home sold for $1.165 million on Oct. 2, according to Georgia MLS, which lists the property’s high school as Pope.
