Gate City Build Group, a remodeling company based in East Cobb, ranked No. 19 on the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2026 list of Atlanta's Largest Residential Remodeling Contractors.
The company announced the ranking on its Instagram account on Aug. 14. The Atlanta Business Chronicle published the list on July 31, ranking contractors by their 2025 residential remodeling revenue in the Atlanta market.
The list includes only companies that derive at least 51 percent of their Atlanta revenue from full-service home remodeling. New-home construction and commercial work do not count.
Owner Reed Haley founded Gate City Build Group in 2017 and runs the company as a licensed general contractor from Marietta's 30068 ZIP code, in the heart of East Cobb. Haley is a Georgia Southern University graduate and is described on the company's team page as an active part of the East Cobb community.
"We want to turn your house into a home that you truly love and will cherish forever," Haley said in a statement about the company.
This is at least the second time Gate City Build Group has appeared on the annual ranking. The company was also listed among the Atlanta Business Chronicle's largest residential remodeling contractors in 2023, according to its Houzz profile. Whether the company appeared on the 2024 or 2025 editions of the list could not be confirmed.
With the company founded in 2017, Haley's operation is on track to mark its 10th year in business in 2027.
