Four East Cobb high schools will hold 2027 graduation ceremonies at the Kennesaw State University Convocation Center in May.
The Cobb County School District released the full commencement schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The district-wide graduation window runs Monday, May 17, through Sunday, May 23, 2027, according to the district's commencement webpage.
Here are the East Cobb dates and times:
- Walton High School: Monday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m.
- Pope High School: Thursday, May 20 at 2:30 p.m.
- Wheeler High School: Friday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m.
- Lassiter High School: Sunday, May 23 at 3:00 p.m.
Lassiter and Kennesaw Mountain High School close out the week-long schedule on May 23, according to a district press release. Cobb Horizon High School and the Cobb Online Learning Academy (COLA) open the schedule on May 17 at 3:30 p.m.
Pope seniors face an early deadline. Cap and gown orders through Atlantagrad.com are due Dec. 1, according to Pope's senior information page. Students must wear an approved cap and gown to participate in the ceremony.
The district said directions, parking information, livestream access and details about ordering video recordings will be posted on its commencement webpage as they become available. Each ceremony will be broadcast live online.
Individual schools will announce rehearsal dates, times and locations separately.
The last day of school for the 2026–2027 year is May 19, 2027, two days before Wheeler's ceremony and four days before Lassiter's.
