A Marietta woman faces four criminal charges after she threatened to shoot government employees and bomb the Cobb County courthouse during a phone call to the State Court Clerk's office on Friday, July 17.
Natalia Seico called the office of State Court Clerk Tahnicia Phillips about an upcoming case and became increasingly agitated, according to an arrest warrant reported by WSB-TV. The warrant quotes Seico telling staff: "If you're not gonna transfer my case to immigration court, I'm going to law school library and I will shoot the USA, DSH, and DIA and CSA and CCC."
The acronyms were not explained in the warrant.
When staff indicated her call might be transferred to another office, Seico's threats escalated. The warrant quotes her telling courthouse employees to "exit the court center now because they will bomb you."
Seico was arrested the same day. As of Saturday, July 25, she remained in the Cobb County jail without bond, according to jail records cited by WSB-TV reporter Sam Sachs.
Charges
Jail records list four charges against Seico:
- Making terroristic threats
- Willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer
- Battery against a police officer, law enforcement dog, or corrections officer
- Possession of cocaine
The circumstances of the battery and cocaine charges were not detailed in the warrant.
What the law says
Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 16-11-37), a terroristic threat is typically a misdemeanor. It becomes a felony punishable by one to five years in prison if the threat suggests the death of the person threatened. When the threat is made to intimidate someone from attending a judicial proceeding, the penalty jumps to five to 20 years and a minimum $50,000 fine.

The threats were directed at staff in Phillips' office at the Cobb County State Court, 12 E. Park Square in Marietta, part of the government complex where East Cobb residents handle traffic citations, misdemeanor cases, and civil lawsuits.
No next court date or bond hearing for Seico has been publicly announced. The Cobb County Sheriff's Office has not released a separate statement on the arrest.
