Families can trick-or-treat through 26 shops and restaurants at Avenue East Cobb's free Boo Bash on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual Halloween event returns to The Plaza at 4475 Roswell Road in Marietta. Kids check in at The Plaza to pick up a stroll map, then visit participating stores to collect goodies while supplies last, according to the shopping center's event page.
Trick-or-treat stops include Barnes & Noble, Sephora, lululemon, Williams Sonoma, Round Trip Brewing, Peach State Pizza, Giulia Italian Bakery, Small Cakes and High Country Outfitters, among others.
East Cobb Church is partnering on the event and will run two sessions of its Mega Awesome Costume Party on the main stage. The first show runs 11:30 a.m. to noon. The second runs 1 to 1:30 p.m. Kids can show off their costumes and join in during both performances, according to the church's Instagram announcement.
A live DJ takes over The Plaza from noon to 1 p.m. Bounce houses, face painting, hands-on crafts and roaming performers round out the afternoon.
Avenue East Cobb said in a Facebook post that the event is returning for another year. The center's promotional materials reference a 2025 edition, indicating Boo Bash has run at least once before.
Trick-or-treating is guaranteed rain or shine. The broader event is weather permitting. If conditions force a cancellation, Avenue East Cobb will post updates on its Instagram account, @avenueeastcobb.
No registration is required. Admission is free. Coolers and outside beverages are not permitted. Residents with questions can email [email protected].
