A Cagle Road home in the Walton high school zone sold for $2.6 million, the highest price among East Cobb closings the week of Sept. 14–18. A review of the data compiled by East Cobb News from agency reports and Cobb County property records shows 44 transactions across seven attendance zones.

The week's featured sale was a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2123 Stone Hollow Court in the Chimney Springs subdivision. The 3,002-square-foot home on 0.48 acres sold for $782,500 on Sept. 15. Chimney Springs, a community of more than 700 homes, sits in the Pope High School, Hightower Trail Middle School and Tritt Elementary School zones.

A second Chimney Springs home at 2210 Smoke Stone Circle sold for $645,000 the same week.

Four other sales crossed $1 million. On Stone Drive in the Lassiter zone, a home closed at $1.1 million. Buttonbush Court in Mountain Creek Estates, also Lassiter, matched that figure. Kings Cove's Cove Court in the Walton zone hit $1.1 million as well. Bostic Hill Court in Sibley Forest, in the Wheeler zone, sold for $1.075 million.

The Sprayberry zone led all areas in volume with 13 sales, ranging from $281,600 on Morgan Road in Pine Valley Farms to $759,000 on Hilltop Circle.

Prices varied widely. The lowest sale was 2869 Torreya Way in The Woods, in the Wheeler zone, at $205,000. The Kell zone recorded one transaction: 4582 North Landing Way in North Landing at $318,500.

Other closings above $900,000 included 778 Old Paper Mill Drive in Old Paper Mill at $975,000 in the Wheeler zone, 3876 High Green Drive in Indian Hills at $944,100 in the Walton zone and 1236 Riversound Court in Riversound at $870,100, also Walton.
