Three restaurants, a medical aesthetics clinic on Johnson Ferry Road and a botanical retailer in the 30062 zip code are among 47 businesses that received Cobb County licenses the week of Aug. 9–16, according to the county's New Business Listing report.
The batch, reported by the Cobb County Courier, is smaller than the prior week's 69-license total but covers a range of sectors from food to fitness to health care.
Restaurants
Sirena Mexican Cuisine & Bar LLC, with contact Yarely Chavez listed in county records, received its license Aug. 11 at 2074 South Cobb Drive in Marietta. Spice Wing Marietta, operating under Sayuri Family Enterprises LLC, was licensed Aug. 12 at 1038 Seven Springs Circle in the 30068 zip code near Johnson Ferry Road.
Teriyaki Madness, a fast-casual Asian franchise operating as MK GA 002 LLC, was licensed Aug. 11. The county filing lists a Roswell Road address in Sandy Springs; whether the restaurant will operate at that location has not been confirmed.
Health, fitness and retail
OVME Aesthetics, a national med-spa chain pronounced "of me," received a medical clinic license Aug. 13. The company's website lists its East Cobb location at 1311 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 552, in Marietta. OVME already operates in Buckhead and Alpharetta and offers Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments and wellness services. Jill Cassel is listed as the contact on the county filing.
Holland Botanical LLC earned a produce-market license Aug. 13 at 1953 Hastings St. in Marietta's 30062 zip code. Contact Janis Holland is listed in county records.
Two fitness studios also joined the roster. Vinyasa by Leah LLC, run by Leah Critelli, received a fitness-center license Aug. 13 at 4678 Bancroft Court in Marietta 30062. TMAXFIT LLC was licensed the same day at 2030 Powers Ferry Road, Suite 230.
Other notable entries
Baladi Coffee 4 LLC, with contact Sarah Khatib, picked up a coffee-and-tea-store license Aug. 13. The brand previously scored a 99/A on its first health inspection July 30 at its Sandy Plains Road location.
IndiFresh Marietta LLC received a grocery-store license Aug. 13 at 4815 Canton Road.
The Hammocks at East Cobb, a 78-unit apartment community for residents 55 and older at 10902 Crabapple Road in Roswell, received an apartment-rental license Aug. 13 under the entity Hammocks at East Cobb Opco LLC. Aponi Management CEO and founder Heather Marinko described the project's market positioning in a June 2025 East Cobber profile, saying the community aims to fill a gap for empty nesters who want maintenance-free living without million-dollar townhome prices. The community was initially expected to open in August 2025; the reason for the delayed license filing is unclear. Units start at $1,800 per month.

These licenses cover only businesses in unincorporated Cobb County; incorporated cities such as Marietta issue their own. A county business license is a prerequisite for operation but does not confirm a business has opened or set an opening date.
