A Palmetto woman faces four new felony charges after she allegedly violated her bond conditions by repeatedly contacting an East Cobb man with threatening messages about "black magic," according to an arrest warrant taken out July 6.
Michelle Lewis Story, 52, is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, where a Cobb Sheriff's Office booking report confirmed she has been in custody since Tuesday, Aug. 11. The four new counts of aggravated stalking stem from contacts she made with the victim between late June and early July, according to a report by Wendy Parker of East Cobb News.
Story was already facing two counts of aggravated stalking against the same man from an Aug. 3, 2025, incident at his home off Murdock Road. Her bond from that case barred any contact with the victim or visits to his home.
She broke those conditions four times in eight days, the warrant states.
On June 27, Story text-messaged the man twice and acknowledged she knew she "was not supposed to contact" him. On July 2, she texted offering to pay him $350 to drive her to her Palmetto home and left a voicemail about releasing him from "black magic." On July 3, she texted and tried to call with messages about "holding said victim captive using black magic." And early on the morning of July 4, she emailed him with a similar message and urged him to find someone to take her away in exchange for an unspecified reward.
Each contact constitutes a separate felony count.
Under Georgia law, aggravated stalking occurs when someone violates a bond condition, restraining order or probation by contacting another person to harass or intimidate them. Each conviction carries one to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
The 2025 case
The original charges trace back to Aug. 3, 2025, when Story was recorded on a Ring camera leaving a box of clothes at the victim's front door off Murdock Road and knocking repeatedly. Those actions violated the terms of a probation order, according to the warrant from that date.
The victim told Story directly during the incident: "Michelle, this is harassment, I want you to stop contacting me." She responded that by leaving the clothes she was trying to help him, not harass him, the warrant states.
Story now faces a total of six felony aggravated stalking charges across the two cases. The status of the 2025 charges and any upcoming court dates for the new counts have not been publicly disclosed.
