Sidelines Grille in East Cobb has been sold, and a Naples, Florida-based sports bar plans to take over the space at Stonewood Village Shopping Center this fall.

A sign posted on the doors at 4719 Lower Roswell Road announced that Scoreboard Social will open at the location in November, East Cobb News reported Monday, Aug. 31. The company filed business paperwork with the Georgia Secretary of State's office on Aug. 4 as Scoreboard Social East Cobb, LLC, according to the report.

Sidelines Grille, which originated in Cherokee County, opened its East Cobb location in March 2024. The chain still has five locations. Its East Cobb web page now returns an error.

Scoreboard Social describes itself as a family-owned sports bar and grill. Its Naples menu lists burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads and seafood entrees, along with a kids menu. The restaurant also hosts trivia, bingo and karaoke nights, according to its website. The company's site lists only its Naples location, making East Cobb its first expansion.

Urthy closing at Woodlawn Square

Urthy, the boutique skincare shop at Woodlawn Square Shopping Center, is shutting down after nearly three years.

Founder and owner Jen Rotondo announced the closure of both the physical store and her online shop at urthyscents.com in a customer email newsletter. She wrote that the decision came "after a lot of thought."

"Businesses have seasons, and I've reached the point where I know it's time for this one to end," Rotondo wrote. "I could keep pushing. I could keep pouring more money, more time and more of myself into trying to make Urthy bigger. But I don't want to do that anymore."

Urthy opened in November 2023 and was known for its custom scent-blending station called the Blend Bar, where customers could create personalized body and skincare products. Rotondo wrote that the shop mixed thousands of custom scents and formulated its own product line during its run.

Sales are underway for both in-store and online inventory. Rotondo said she will announce a specific closing date separately.
